I started gymnastics at the age of 10 when my dad finally had enough of me doing cartwheels and roundoffs on the soccer field; I was supposed to be playing. By the age of 12 I had progressed to level 8, starting at the Beverly YMCA and then moving here, to Gymstreet! I continued being a competitive athlete in high school becoming a state finalist in gymnastics, cheerleading, and track. After high school I began coaching girls’ gymnastics and cheer at the Beverly YMCA where I worked with kids of all different ages and skill levels. Currently, I am studying code for front end web development and I’m also a freelance graphic designer. I am very excited to be coaching the boys at GymStreet!

I’ve always enjoyed recreational and competitive gymnastics among other sports. After graduating from Shawsheen Technical High School with a concentration in business administration I attended both Middlesex Community College and UMass Lowell earning a BS in Business Management. In 2005 I became a licensed realtor and began selling residential real estate while personally continuing with my passion for health and fitness. After my first child was born in 2008 I couldn’t wait for her to be old enough to do gymnastics! She started out here at Gymstreet USA doing mommy and me classes and is currently a JO gymnast along with my son who trains with the boys team. In 2016 I decided to join the Gymstreet family as a recreational gymnastics coach and haven’t looked back since. Having the ability to implement my passion for fitness and love for gymnastics with amazing kids has been so rewarding.
My love for gymnastics began at age 5 as I watched my older brother, Devin, begin his journey as a young gymnast. Mom encouraged me to try dance and soccer, but my desire was to follow in my brother’s footsteps and dedicate myself to gymnastics. In 2007, my parents opened Gymstreet USA. I not only grew up at Gymstreet competing and honing my gymnastics skills, but it gave me the ability to develop into a knowledgeable gymnastics coach. I enjoy teaching the sport that has inspired me and love to watch the pride and excitement the children feel when they master a new skill. I competed through J.O. level 8 and then transferred to the Xcel Diamond Team where I won two state championships and earned a placement on the Massachusetts regional team three years in a row. I served as captain for both the gymnastics team and varsity cheerleading team in High School. I am currently pursuing a career in Exercise physiology at Salem State University.
My competitive gymnastics career lasted from ages 6-16 when I switched over to cheerleading with my sister for my senior year of high school. After two seasons of cheering I won states in my division for pole vault in spring track then onto college at Southern New Hampshire University working toward my degree in Business Administration. I have been coaching since age 17 so about 4 years now, and am currently working full time at Gymstreet finishing my senior year online to earn my degree.
